Winner of the Husky Coupling iPad give away
March 5, 2013 Fayetteville Arkansas.
There were smiles all around this afternoon when James Bolin, CPD with TME Inc. was awarded his iPad from Husky couplings. I asked James if he thought he had the winning entry when he signed up. James said he went to the Husky promotional website and watched a video about the product. He then answered a few questions to be entered in the drawing for the iPad. He received a Husky t-shirt for his trouble but never thought he would actually win. James said that his firm uses Husky 2000 and one other competitor in their specification He has been in the business since 1995 and has never experienced any issues with the product. Once again congratulations to James on the big win !

Not Sure If the Material on a Jobsite Meets the “Buy American” Law?
We’ve had a few comments from engineers that they’re unclear about how to tell if all the
material on a given jobsite meets the requirements of the “Buy American” law as it
pertains to publicly-funded projects. They know that if the project is funded by federal
stimulus money, all the materials used on that job must be made in America, but how can they be sure that the cast iron pipe and fittings meet this requirement? The easiest way to determine compliance with Buy American is to look for the CISPI mark on the pipe or fittings. The distinct CI logo is proof that the material was made in the USA and meets all applicable standards. Still not sure? Contact the EST Team and we’ll send somebody to the job site to confirm compliance. If we find material that shouldn’t be there, we’ll notify you right away
